My favorite part from this piece is the emoticons face, little as it may be. Details make a story! He really does seem to enjoy it. My other favorite part is the cup. You actually got the grooves of the cup in your drawing.
I do have some constructive criticism, though. One thing is it seems like it's missing something. Maybe a beachy background, or just a sun beating down on the umbrella, because it seems kinda weird that he would be under the umbrella if there is no sun. Also, the cup's shadow seems kinda small x3
In a total, it's a great piece. I've seen drawing version, but never crafted as an emoticon, and never so beautifully. Keep making emotes!
Vision
This is a very beautifully detailed sprite, down to every last pixel. There are many aspects to it including the very fluid and well done animation. The juice looks delicious and the shading and highlights are very realistic looking!
Originality
Though there are a vast array of emotes here on dA, this emoticon is very unique and I have seen nothing like it before! What a good idea, the positioning of everything is lovely and this is a wonderful way of being creative whilst including a very laid back emoticon!
Technique
As I mentioned before, this is a truly detailed and well spirited piece. The colours are very well thought through and if you zoom in, you can see every last pixel positioned exactly in a perfect position-well done! ^-^
Impact
The impact this had on me at first was how well done it was. The overall composition is very well done and I love it very much! It's not as 'wow' as a huge print or something, but considering it's quite small it's been done amazingly.
I very well-done to this artist, no wonder it took you 4 hours!
