At first, I would like to bring to light that this beautiful pixel art is finely spectacular. The colors you used to make the background are amazing. The light coming from above is well made. The details you putted in this work are awesome.
On the other hand, I think that you could have made the fish animation much better not just swimming and eating the worm I think that would able to duplicate the quality seen in the rest of the art work.
To conclude I would like to mention that it has been a joy to pen this exposition for you and I hope that it will help you to re-awesomeize your already masterful piece.
P.S. I used this little app to help write this Critique [link] , but I used only lines that fitted what I wanted to say and wrote some parts myself.
Critique is supposed to be like constructive criticism, right? Well man I really really sorry but I don't have a damn thing. You did such an amazing job on everything in this animation. I love everything about it. Believe it or not, my room is decorated like a sunken ship! I swear it is!. Thats why your picture caught my attention. I have ship wheels, anchors, a wall mount of a pirate ship ect. XD
I'd have to say that the only bad thing I found with your picture is that it made me fell like crap about my animated emotes. I just started making them, but still. lol I felt real good about them till I saw yours and now I think I will take up knitting instead. hahaha jk But your art is absolutely amazing! You were dead on with the colors, the bubbles (which I LOVE), the corals, and of course the ship!
My critique I guess would be to ask you to keep making them. LOTS of them! lol *cough* My favorite animals are baby sea turtles *cough*
Hahahaha, lol! This is very well animated. I'm liking the whole design of the scene, so many subtle details and variation, the way the light is coming down and the bubbles gloat up, and the ship in the background which I didn't even see at first glance but felt it add to the atmosphere. It's great the way the fish takes the hook and is pulled up, and the way the hook comes back down. The only thing that might have been interesting to try would have been if the fish went down, not up, after taking the hook, dragging tension on the line as he tries to dive down. Just saying that would be interesting to try, not saying it needs it. Looks awesome!
